Where There's Smoke

I always wanted to do a funky smoke picture. But I don't do the cigarettes thing (or any other type of inhalent). So I thought I'd try it with some incense my best friend, Sarah gave me for my birthday. And it worked pretty well. I had all kinds of different pics, some with more smoke, some with less, but I liked this one best because of that little swirl. Some people reccomended trying the flash to freeze the smoke more, so I think I'm going to try it again. I'll post with an update, if I do one! (Imagine this! Another post!)

I find a good way to learn about portraits is to do them -- LOTS of them. But when no willing model is around, I use myself! So I've done a few new self portraits. I'll share some!

This is me. Actually I am more than just a half a face, so this is a piece of me. I often only photograph pieces of myself. Aaaaaand that's about as deep as you'll see me get.

Here's a funny one I took - -it's my ticket for Cirque du Soleil; La Nouba! Tomorrow morning at 6:20 am my plane pulls out of the Sydney airport and off to Walt Disney World!! LESS THAN 24 HOURS!!!!!
