Old job, new job.

Well I've started a new job. It's about to become my old job. Tonight is my last shift.

So! I did my first wedding of the year on May 10th with Jason and Julia. We battled some cold weather and impending rain, but we ended up with some really beautiful photos! Have a look...

Where There's Smoke

I always wanted to do a funky smoke picture. But I don't do the cigarettes thing (or any other type of inhalent). So I thought I'd try it with some incense my best friend, Sarah gave me for my birthday. And it worked pretty well. I had all kinds of different pics, some with more smoke, some with less, but I liked this one best because of that little swirl. Some people reccomended trying the flash to freeze the smoke more, so I think I'm going to try it again. I'll post with an update, if I do one! (Imagine this! Another post!)

I find a good way to learn about portraits is to do them -- LOTS of them. But when no willing model is around, I use myself! So I've done a few new self portraits. I'll share some!
